These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SponsorStats.com and its associated tools, including the Claude MCP connector (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Rutvik Dumre ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
SponsorStats provides access to publicly available H1B visa petition data sourced from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). The Service includes a website, search tools, and a Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector that allows Claude.ai users to query H1B data through natural language conversation.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Permitted Use
You may use the Service for lawful, personal, and informational purposes, including:
- Researching a company's H1B sponsorship history
- Comparing salary ranges and petition volumes across employers
- Using the Claude MCP connector to query H1B data conversationally
4. Prohibited Use
You may not:
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download data from the Service in an automated manner without prior written permission
- Use the Service to harass, defame, or target any individual or organization
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or other technical controls
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the data without authorization
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
5. Data Accuracy & Disclaimer
All H1B data displayed on SponsorStats is sourced from public DOL records. We make no warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of the data. The data reflects H1B petitions filed with the DOL — these are legal work-authorization filings, not job openings or guarantees of employment or sponsorship.
SponsorStats is a personal project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the U.S. Department of Labor or any employer listed in the data.
6. MCP Connector
The SponsorStats Claude MCP connector allows Claude.ai to query our H1B database on your behalf. The connector is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uptime or response time for the connector endpoint. Query parameters (such as employer name, job title, and year) are transmitted to our servers solely to fulfill your search request and are not stored or logged. 7. Intellectual Property
The underlying H1B data is public domain (sourced from the U.S. DOL). The SponsorStats website design, code, and original content are owned by Rutvik Dumre and may not be reproduced without permission.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of competent jurisdiction.
